Adrian Busietta was Chairman of the Busietta Group of Companies, which has been active in business over the last 200 years since 1802. His great grand father Francesco Busietta was a leading merchant of the 19th Century and a Founder Member of the Malta Chamber of Commerce in 1848 and of the Casino Maltese in 1852. In 1999 The Muscats Genera Stores Limited group and RHF Industries Limited were sold out at 100%, which used to be be part of Busietta Group of Companies.
The Busietta Group of Companies comprises a conglomerate of over fifteen companies covering land and property development buying and selling Hotels and has shareholdings In various subsidiary and periphery companies.

Adrian was responsible together with others of upgrading to International Status the original Malta Trade Fair and to have it recognised as part of the prestigious world body, the Unione Des Foires International in Paris, and made international map and changed its name to The Malta International Trade Fair. Ensuring on the world calendar of Fairs that 1st July to 15th July belong to Malta only.
The Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise builds on its long tradition with dynamism and a forward-looking approach, at the forefront of technology and of developments in the business environment which it seeks to exploit to the advantage of its members, their employees and the nation at large.
Represented Malta Chamber of Commerce at the International Chamber of Commerce Congress in Vienna in 1971 and in Rio de Janeiro in 1973.
Represented the Maltese Arab Chamber and led various delegations to the General Union of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries.
Strong supporter and very close to President and Director General.

Adrian is a senior officer of this world body which brings together Knights from all over the world.
Chevalier Adrian Busietta was appointed Grand Prior of Malta in 1994 and Deputy Grand Master in 1997, HSA Pronce Grand Master in 2006 and has since been elevated to Prince Grand Master Emeritus.
Adrian was co-author of book called the Triangle of the Mediterranean. A historical book about the Knights of Malta between the Kingdom of Naples and the Arabs Barbary States of Maghreb with ISBN number 88-7092-189-1, published in Italy in 2001 by M. D'Auria Editore -Napoli, and first published in Malta in 2001 by Castello Entertainments Limited, Castello dei Baroni, St Georges Road, Wardija.

INCO Investment Ltd. 1987 -2001 Director and shareholder.
INCO Ltd also invested heavily in 'Intercomp Computers Ltd of Blata I-Bajda Malta, and Mr Busietta was one of the founder Directors of this company.
Founder member and Director together with others opened up the first English Speaking Radio Station in Malta, ISLAND SOUND.
Then, INCO Ltd at the request of Mr Frank Salt bought out his 50% shareholding in Island Sound. Now INCa Ltd owns the major shareholding of Island Sound Radio Station. Since then it has been sold out to another radio station known as Calypso Radio.
INCO Ltd. was a bridging finance Company owned by ten Maltese Businessmen all in equal shareholding namely; M. Demajo Group, Valhmor Borg Group, Adrian Busietta Group, John Borg Group, Phillip Gatt Group, Tony Guillaumier Group, Gino Miceli Group, Colin Tabone Group, Major Joe Abela Group, Charles Zammit Group.
INCO Ltd was responsible in attracting the Group Four Security services into Malta as well as financing it for the first ten years, and was a major shareholder along side the owner.
In 1993 Mr Busietta was Executive Producer of Alessio, a film production written by Marie Angelique Caruana and directed by Yvonne Deutchman off BBC Fame. Featuring in the leading role was Oliver Tobias (co partner with Joan Collins of the UK film The Stud). The film was set in Malta with the cast comprising of English BBC Actors and Maltese Actors, with the dialogue in the English Language for showing internationally.
Mr Busietta was also involved in the production of Gabriella, a 19 minute promo shot in 1984 with Albert Moses as Director, based on the book written by Marie Angelique Caruana, also with the name of Gabriella. The book is based in Los Angeles and Malta. It was shot with a fashion parade in the Tapestry Chamber in the Presidents Palace in Valletta as well as shots taken at the Verdala castle and with shots showing Long Beach California. Amongst the well known actors taking part, there was also Helena Dalli, Lino Mintoff and Marisa Schembri.
Mr Busietta was consultant and co producer in 2007 of The Inheritance, a 13 Episode Soap Opera screened on NET TV on a screenplay by Marie Angelique Caruana and Director Tony Parnis, starring Barry Calvert in the leading role of an English Aristocrat, based in London, who marries a Maltese visitor to London.
